UT Southwestern Medical Center’s award-winning dermatology service has gained recognition for excellence in research, education and patient care. Our physicians care for patients with complex needs referred by other doctors, but also treat patients with common diseases of the skin, hair and nails. Our knowledge of the latest advances in dermatological research combined with our experience in patient care provides the best treatments available.
As the largest multispecialty dermatology group practice in Texas, we offer a variety of specialized services that no other practice in the area does. We are the only cutaneous lymphoma referral center in North Texas and the only rheumatic skin disease referral center in the state. Our UVA-1 phototherapy unit is the only one in the Southwest. And we train more dermatologists than any other department in Texas.
Our practice has an internal medicine emphasis, with three faculty members who are board-certified in both internal medicine and dermatology. Many of our physicians focus on melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer prevention and treatment, and we have the busiest Mohs surgery practice in North Texas.
